The weight is not that long and the line moves pretty fast so it is definitely worth the visit. Now the macaroons are a must. It is around $75 for a box of 8 but it is sooo good! The cookies and muffins are also winners actually everything is really good. Just be sure to grab some coffee with all that sweet goodness and enjoy your wine tastings while in Napa.

Get the turkey sandwich!! ( I believe it's on Dutch crunch- I should have bought a loaf!) It was so good I had to go back the next day to try it again! Everything else I tried was good- but not my favorite. ( Maybe my expectations were too high?) Croissant bagel was light and really good flavors it would be amazing with lox and sliced tomato. When you're at the checkout - grab a bar of chocolate! I usually only have dark chocolate but the milk chocolate with/truffle fries was really smooth and delicious!

Bouchon Bakery was quite the experience between the gluten-free macarons, chocolate bouchons, and the chocolate eclair with chocolate crème filling and gold flake. Very magical. The macarons such as the pistachio, raspberry, and white chocolate were absolute perfection. I can see why there is always a line coming out of the entrance. Located in the center of downtown Yountville next to Thomas Keller's other Bouchon restaurant and down the street from the other restaurants he owns such as Regiis Opa and Ad Hoc (and French Laundry in the other direction), the bakery is quite a happening place where you order after moving through the queue and then either enjoy your food outside at one of the tables or take home your wherever you are staying/living. Walking inside, you have the brown wooden shelving behind the glass refrigerated displays where they sell baked bread for that day. While it doesn't have the feel of a French bakery, you have this welcoming feeling as you wait to give your order depending on what you are in the mood to enjoy. The chocolate eclair was magical especially with the gold flakes on the end of one side. They also have nifty breakfast options pre-made in house.

Well worth the stop in cute Yountville for baked goods of this quality. Everything looked amazing, everything we ordered tasted amazing and the most amazing part was it wasn't priced unreasonably. Definitely a spot to stop. If you time things correctly it is an easy in and out or its a line out the door. Stop anyway!

Bouchon Bakery is what dreams are made of! I've been craving the perfect crispy, yet soft and chewy chocolate chip cookie and I found it here..it did not disappoint. If you're in the Yountville area, this grab & go spot is a must for all your quick-fix bakery needs. Upon arrival (line or no line) you're greeted by the scent of bakery & buttery goodness. Besides just the iconic chocolate chip cookie, recommendations include: the almond croissant, the Bouchon (bite sized brownies), the TKO (named after chef Thomas Keller, their version of an elevated Oreo), a variety of beautiful macarons (if macarons is your jam, our group loved the pistachio, passion fruit, and raspberry flavors), the chocolate eclair (this delectable treat comes with flakes of gold), lemon tart, and the OhOh (their take on the classic childhood treat spelled backwards). Bouchon also has freshly baked breads, sandwiches, packaged treats and snacks, and coffee/drinks. They have a main restaurant next door with a French bistro flare that I can't wait to try. With plenty of parking across the street, this spot is satisfyingly worth the wait and I don't mind the extra wallet splurge for high quality ingredients and next level desserts. Bravo!

Bake the Spell Thomas Keller's sister bakery to his nearby Michelin recommended Bouchon Bistro and three-starred French Laundry. The bakery was first opened as a way to supply fresh-baked and unique breads to the two aforementioned restaurants, but luckily for us, they decided to open it for the vegetal public, as well. The Good: *Everything is baked in-house and is really fresh due to the popularity of this place. *They serve coffee, but we've never tried it *Croissants were phenomenal and so light and airy *Better Nutter are like giant Nutter Butter cookies, but like crack. The Meh: *Ordering process is a little confusing at first, as you seem to deal with more people than necessary, but it all works out in the end. The Ugly: *This place almost always has a line, especially on weekends. We did luck out on our first visit and show up with no line, but that surely was a fluke. However, I will say that it does move pretty quickly thanks to the fast, albeit slightly confusing ordering process mentioned above. Conclusion: Fantastic French bakery with some really craveable goodies, that's a must-visit when visiting the Napa area.
